We work with specific donors to complete, renovate and expand mosques and religious establishments. These include projects that serve different Muslim sects and denominations.
Some examples include:
Same Mosque (Sunni Shafi’i)
Located in a small village approximately 30km from Same Town in Kilimanjaro Region, Hasnain Foundation completed the construction and renovation of a small mosque that lay unfinished for 6 years. The newly completed mosque serves a small population of 120 local people with regular prayers and religious classes.
Kileo Mosque Madressa (Twelver Imami)
Located in Kileo Village between Moshi Town and Same Town in Kilimanjaro Region, this newly renovated mosque required funds to complete a madressa classroom that was part-funded by other international donors. The madressa is attended by 60 children on a weekly basis.
Rundugai Mosque Well & Toilet Block (Sunni Shafi’i)
Located in Hai District, neighbouring Moshi Town, Rundugai Mosque lacked a regular water supply and hygienic ablution and toilet facilities. The mosque now has a dedicated and sustainable water supply from a small well that has been dug on-site and a toilet block for male and female worshippers.
